Oklahoma's public school history teachers will soon be required to teach the disproved conspiracy theory that the Democratic Party stole the 2020 presidential election from President Donald Trump.
The Republican-led state's new high school history curriculum says students must learn how to dissect the results of the 2020 election, including learning about alleged mail-in voter fraud, "an unforeseen record number of voters" and "security risks of mail-in balloting."

Students must be able to "identify discrepancies in 2020 elections results by looking at graphs and other information, including the sudden halting of ballot-counting in select cities in key battleground states, the security risks of mail-in balloting, sudden batch dumps, an unforeseen record number of voters, and the unprecedented contradiction of ‘bellwether county’ trends," the new standard reads.

The new curriculum also removed a prior proposal for lessons about George Floyd's murder and Black Lives Matter, and teaches as fact the hotly contested theory that COVID-19 emerged from a lab leak.

Date: 2025-08-12 10:20 pm (UTC)Це правда. Але це було можливо тільки тому, що за виключенням мажорів типу мене - усі були однаково бідні. Якщо в продажу нема не то що джинсів, а і штанів взагалі - то "цветовая дифференциация штанов" просто не існує. Нема штанів, нема і диференціації!
Але я не думаю, що ти хочеш такого життя своїм дітям, з вічним блатом і дефіцитом - і пов'язаними з ними приниженнями! (Діти, тоді, звісно, в більшості своїй про це не думали - це батьки займалися війною за дефіцит.)
А про ровесників - ти знову правий. Обмеження досвіду (усі ці ізми - для невиїзної більшості це казки і абстракції) - робить усі ці розмови і погляди дрібницями, які не впливають на життя взагалі. (На відміну від необхідності нашкрябти грошей і таки купити ті джинси, щоб вразити ту саму дівчину... і це ми не кажемо, що там треба було дівчатам - якою ціною діставалися панчохи, помада і інші патріархальні штуки - та навіть банальні прокладки... :( )
P.S. Цікаво, що при цьому навіть ті самі мажори - жили, по сучасним міркам, в злиднях. (Про житло я вже писав, і це в нас була МВД-шна квартира в козирному будинку!)
P.P.S. Не впевнений, що тодішня політична аморфність молоді - є абсолютним благом, а не поганою апатією, яка створена важким побутом і тоталітарною цензурою.
Що краще:
- коли сучасна політично активна молодь активно відторгає комуністичні ідеї і індоктринується в таборах Пласту? (навіть якщо ця індоктринація має сайд-ефекти у вигляді священних корів, які з'являються в силу віку, нестачі досвіду і загальної домінації гормонів над мозком)
- чи коли усім пофіг, нацист ти або комуняка?
