P.S. I also would like to remind you that Florida is not the first state to kill the concept of tenure.

Date: 2023-03-09 12:57 am (UTC)2. Флорида, до речі, в цьому движі відмітилася - але вона, як не дивно, ліберальніша за інших. Морозиво від Бена і Джеррі для університетського кафе не можна купувати , але погляди окремих працівників поки що не можуть бути причиною для переслідування.
3. "академічними утисками за погляди шляхом урізання"
Пардон, тут я заплутався - я з кожної праски чув, що звільнення навіть явних мудаків - це загроза для академічної свободи, незалежно від того, чи націлена вона на академію, чи є частиною ширшого руху, а академія просто в тренді (ну, так склалося, що цей конкретний мудак отримав tenure).
(На всяк випадок нагадаю, що претензії по цьому моменту я висував не тобі, а авторам всяких там opinions в типу ліберальних газетах. Якщо ти скажеш, що вони дарма намагаються вичленити академію в окрему категорію - я зрозумію.)
