Censuring Cheney
Feb. 4th, 2022 08:40 pmAs expected, RNC passed a resolution to censure Cheney and Kinzinger for taking part in Jan 6 investigation commission.
However, it has a pretty interesting clause - it calls the attempted coup "legitimate political discourse" (and Cheney is involved in "persecution of ordinary citizens engaged in legitimate political discourse").

Pretending that it is "business as usual" just became so much harder.
