Removing Boudin didn't help
Sep. 5th, 2022 04:52 pmThere was a lot of noise about Boudin's (SF Attorney General) liberal policies getting in the way of the police doing its job. SF voted to recall Boudin - yet it didn't help:

A guy was trying to steal a catalytic converter - when police arrived they pulled a man from under a car, asked him a few questions and set him free, because they "didn't see him doing anything wrong and they couldn't contact a car owner" (at 3am). The police chief stood by the decision.
I am starting to suspect that Boudin wasn't the problem. However, it's pretty ironic for people who really wanted him removed, who complained about the crime (which is 100% right thing to do) and vocally supported the police.
