Yesterday, someone from the Provost's office explained the new post-tenure review process at Georgia Tech.

Tenure as we have known it, is gone at Georgia Tech.

This is not hyperbole. We will be reviewed every year, using a likert scale, along 5 categories. If we score a 1 or 2 in any category, we will be put into probation, and could be fired within a year. That is not tenure.
