Texas Gov. has ordered investigating gender-affirming treatment as child abuse. Basically, if you're an underage trans-person in Texas - it means that you should either stay in the closet or subject your parents to the risk of criminal prosecution.
Moreover, it is not a local blip or just a bill that hasn't been voted for yet - it is a frigging Governor of Texas (and his Attorney General).
