Fox News needs your help!
May. 1st, 2023 11:10 amI guess everybody have heard about Fox News' settlement with Dominion - they have to cough up almost $800 million for their lies.
Yet there is an interesting twist. 200+ millon will be eventually provided by tax payers. Yes, Fox News gets to write the settlement sum from its taxes (reducing the amount that they pay - so all taxpayers will eventually have to contribute to close the hole in the federal budget).
And that doesn't end with Fox News. All corporations that pay fines and damages - get to write them off, as a part of "regular business" (with the exception of sexual harrasment lawsuites).
Isn't it nice? I am going to remember it next time I am paying a parking ticket (or parking properly to avoid one).
