"Left vs Right" and "cancel culture"
May. 18th, 2021 12:50 pmFound a pretty interesting list, top 10 "challenged books" (books that are banned from school libraries etc.)
http://www.ala.org/advocacy/bbooks/frequentlychallengedbooks/top10
It is interesting for two reasons:
1) It shows a glaring discrepancy in the scale of "cancel culture" - during past 4 years only 4 books out of 41 were "cancelled" by "leftist mob" - the rest are banned because of their coverage of LGBT characters, police issues etc. (The statistics are even worse if you dip into previous years).
2) It also makes a pretty good reading list. :)
