AFAIR, it's a third state to de-facto outlaw abortion. (6 weeks are a joke - basically, you have two weeks after your missed period to find out what's up and arrange an abortion, mandatory waiting periods and everything - if it is available in your area at all. I am not even speaking about women with irregular periods.)
BREAKING: The Texas Senate just passed an extreme anti-abortion bill that would ban abortion as early as 6 weeks.
Now it heads to the governor.

наши республиканские друзья целенаправленно блокировали назначение судей при Обаме и упаковывали суды в турбо-режиме при Трампе - как раз надеясь пропихнуть споры об абортах до Верховного Суда и relitigate Roe vs Wade.
этот закон - это очередная шестеренка в этом механизме.
