Education Secretary Ryan Walters has asked the state board of education to revoke former Norman Public Schools teacher Summer Boismier’s teaching license immediately.
Boismier quit NPS when a parent complained after she put butcher paper over her bookshelves with the words "Books the state doesn’t want you to read" in light of HB 1775.
She also gave out a QR code to Brooklyn Public Library, which has the Books Unbanned project.
